Thousand Full Moon: Chandrakant Dattatray Joshi aka Shrikrishna joshi (82)
Shri. Shrikrishna Joshi hails from the small town of Khed from Khed district in Maharashtra, India. He comes from a family of priests and was well versed in Sanskrit pronunciation from early childhood. After retiring from his engineering post, he decided to memorize the Bhagavadgeetā and eventually turned to giving santhā— teaching students to memorize and recite the Bhagavadgeetā accurately. He has taught more than five hundred students and his classes continue via Zoom to date. Many of his students have been to the Shringeri Math and have recited the Bhagavadgeeta for Shankaracharya and won the honorable prize and certification.

In the second one he narrates his personal memory about one of the most impactful and formative incidences from his childhood where his father gave him a beating for missing the evening Sandhyāvandan-- an evening oblation to the Sun. The last two short clips illustrate the outstanding mastery Shri. Shrikrishna Joshi has over the Bhagavadgeeta verses. Here he recites the verses simultaneously from two different chapters by interweaving them alternatively in consecutive succession.
